This spring a pair of little
birds built a nest in one of my
rose bushes. A couple of weeks ago, the eggs hatched and a brood of
little ones emerged. I am not sure how many there are, but I captured this
routine last weekend. The parents are off hunting every 5 minutes - the chicks
start screaming mommy. Here is a version closeup. The mom (or dad - they look alike) shows up with some grub mmm good. Checks out the situation. Is it safe?. How safe if I am there with the camera going. But babies are screaming so dinner it is. These images shot with my new Canon D30 I also posted these same images on a very cool site: Photographica. A place where people share photos and comments. It is very cool. Check it out!
