Went camping last weekend to the high sierra. We drove over to Mono lake and camped on June lake. The drive was long - through Yosemite and over the mountains. But it was beautiful. We loaded up the jeep with us, our cameras and the dogs. I shot a lot with the large digital as well as slides and black and white. All that film is yet to be processed. I also snapped a few with the pencam and managed to capture some of the cool windmills coming through the Altamont pass on the way home.

These images show a couple from Mono lake. A couple from our campsite, reflected in the side mirror of the jeep. The mountains coming through Tioga pass and the weird windmills that litter the hills in Altemont pass. This was such a strange place and it was hot and windy and we were going really fast. I wanted to stop and take some pictures with a bigger camera, but by this time we had been on the road for 6 hours and we were hot and sweaty and grimy and all anyone wanted was to get home to a shower and clean clothes.
