spent the weekend hacking away in the garden. I was sited by the city because some of my plantings were cascading over the curb and the sidewalk and had to be removed. I did so under protest - the tightly trimmed, suburban crisp edges of plantings and yards is not my thing. I prefer the natural cascading of plants to soften the edges of concrete and manmade objects. I took a break and got in close on one of the flowers.
