111 miles on a gorgeous saturday
the ride times are posted at the event site (i am down in the 3200s)
the pasta party the night before had Bob Roll as the guest speaker

thanks to everyone who helped me raise over $5200 for the Leukemia Society to find a cure.

we are off this morning and tomorrow at this time we will be in line with about 7000 other cyclists to begin our 109 mile journey around the perimeter of Tucson. thanks so much to all my friends and family who supported me during this effort and for contributing to find a cure for luekemia and othe blood cancers. lots of pics on my return.

The reason I have been less than prolific with the image making the last 4 months. Doing Team In Training has taken up most of my weekends and many days after work training. Today was our final long team ride—84+ miles. I managed to shoot one image of the larger group towards the beginning of the ride when we were all bunched up. In two weeks we head off to Tucson for the century—109 miles around the city of Tucson. 5 more days of fundraising left—so if you were thinking of donating now is the time!
