sometime, the pencam can actually capture some pretty interesting things. a seagull out as shoreline.

there's always something new to see at shoreline. biking yesterday I passed this row of pylons and was intrigued by what the circular metal pieces were for.

came out to the garden the other day and noticed that the nasturtiums were collecting really large clusters of dew. so i grabbed the canon with the macro zoom and here is the result - a nice collection of closeups.

walked shoreline today rather than ride. took my camera and spent an hour just "seeing"

today is Sheila and Rose's birthday. i made a cake and there was bowling action yesterday evening - much tamer than last year.

feeling creatively challenged - needing to do something drastic - I don't know what - but feeling bogged down by life, by work, by the holidays, by being sick. is this normal for the year end / year beginning? it is cloudy and rainy and i see nothing that speaks out to me to photograph. maybe a change of scenery is needed.
