Mighty Midget
Once upon a time I lived in Leesburg Virginia. In Leesburg was a small mini-diner called the mighty midget. I never ate there but it was supposed to be a great place to get carry out fries and burgers. Only one guy could work in the kitchen space. Last year I started travelling back to Virginia as part of my job at AOL. I went back to Leesburg checking out my old haunts, was my townhouse still there, what about the woods where I used to walk with Maggie and take lots of photos, how about the Mighty Midget? Alas...
you can't go home again - at least and expect it to be exactly as you left it. My town house was still there, but the neighborhood had been surrounded by new homes and the woods where we used to walk was another neighborhood. Even the Mighty Midget was gone. In October, I discovered that the Mighty Midget had not been destroyed, just moved. Yippee!
This past week I was in Virginia again and took a couple of coworkers out to see the Might Midget for themselves. It was night and it was closed, but that didn't stop some photo taking.

I stumbled upon your site doing a Google search of the Mighty Midget Kitchen. Small world. You might remember me or my wife Mary from your MF&A days. does anyone know if the mighty midget is open on friday nights?? do the often have music there?

hello everyone
I am the new owner of the mighty midget kitchen
we our open tues-thur 11-6, fri 11-8 and sat 11-7
we have live music on the first friday of the month for the gallery walk.... and specialty is BBQ but everything on the menu is great

We've been HUGE fans of the Midget for several years now. Great food, great atmosphere, great owners, great place to eat w/ friends.
